Our course management system, Carmen, had a big round button for login. On special occasions, I would create an animated button that was only live for a day or so. This one appeared on leap day.
This groundhog button played on ground hog’s day. The groundhog would look around until the user clicked on him and then he would jump up on the hover action of the button.
The 5 Minutes of Fame was an event that took place every year during our Innovate Conference. Faculty had 5 minutes to share their project and were gonged at exactly 5 minutes and had to stop their presentation whether they were finished or not. I created this musical animation in Adobe Flash to play right before the event while people were taking their seats. The image was also used on various publicity pieces and was an intro for the DVD of the event.
