An ePub is a book that can be downloaded and viewed on a digital device. Because ePubs are a less expensive way of providing books for classes, Ohio State’s Office of Distance Education and eLearning assigned me the task of learning how to design and produce assessible ePubs. Using InDesign, Illustrator, HTML5 and CSS, I designed and developed a text book for Theater. Students reported that they liked the digital version of the textbook, mainly because they didn’t have to carry around a heavy book.
